Describe the caravan and the fault
Send the make, model, year if known and photographs of the affected area taken from a safe position. Say whether the issue involves a leak, visible damage, a door or hatch, running gear or another component. Explain when it first appeared and whether an earlier repair was attempted. Raj will confirm the scope he can assess.
Record signs of water entry
Note where dampness appears and whether it follows rain, washing or use of an onboard water system. Photographs and a dated timeline can help an inspection. Avoid hiding the evidence with cosmetic work before assessment. A visible stain alone does not establish the source, extent or cost of a repair.
Confirm specialist involvement
Ask which work is mechanical and which needs an appropriately authorised specialist, particularly electrical, gas or certification tasks. Do not assume every repair can be handled at one appointment. Agree who will arrange any specialist work and how costs and approvals will be communicated.
Plan movement and collection
Tell Raj whether the caravan can be moved safely and describe its current location. Do not tow with a suspected braking, coupling, wheel or other safety-critical defect. Confirm the workshop or mobile arrangement, access, inspection cost and likely next step before bringing it to 333 Old Ferry Road, Morven.
General information, not a vehicle inspection or confirmation of stock. Budget examples are planning figures. Current prices and availability must be confirmed.
