Feed-out wagon servicing and repairs

Discuss mechanical maintenance or a fault with the feed-out equipment used in your daily farm routine.

Speak directly with Raj, a mechanic with 20+ years of experience across India, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand, including eight years in NZ. His previous work at Almarai included tractors, loaders, forklifts, trucks and hydraulics.

Identify the wagon as well as the tractor

The supplied photograph shows a tractor-towed feed-out wagon. Give Raj the wagon make, model and identification details separately from the tractor towing it. Describe the drive arrangement and any modifications using the service records or identification plate, rather than assuming all wagons use the same parts.

Explain the feeding problem

Tell Raj which part of the normal operation changed, when it began and whether previous work was done. Relevant enquiries may involve the drive system, hydraulic operation, running gear or visible wear. The cause and repair scope need assessment before parts are selected.

Arrange downtime around feeding

Let Raj know when the equipment is needed and whether an alternative is available while it is assessed. Agree safe isolation and keep people clear of moving feed mechanisms. An on-site visit depends on access and the work required; parts, specialist work and any transport arrangements are confirmed separately.

What to send with your enquiry

You can also send the enquiry form with photographs. Photos support the first conversation; inspection may still be needed before a reliable repair quote.

Local bookings and nearby visits

ARM Cars is based in Morven, serving Waimate District and nearby South Canterbury communities including Glenavy, Studholme, Willowbridge, Makikihi and St Andrews. Call before visiting. For a nearby mobile job, send the exact location so Raj can confirm access, travel charges and whether the work is suitable on site.

How much will it cost?

Pricing depends on the vehicle or machine, diagnosis, parts and agreed labour. Ask for the inspection charge, an estimate or quote for the proposed work, and the process for approving anything additional. An online enquiry is not a confirmed appointment.
