Feed mixer servicing and repairs
Plan maintenance and mechanical repair enquiries for large feed-mixing equipment.

Speak directly with Raj, a mechanic with 20+ years of experience across India, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand, including eight years in NZ. His previous work at Almarai included tractors, loaders, forklifts, trucks and hydraulics.
Large equipment with a daily job
The photograph shows a large BvL mixer wagon from Raj’s work experience. Send the actual make, model and serial number of your mixer, together with its service history. Do not use the example photograph to choose parts: specifications and drive arrangements vary between machines.
Separate the symptom from the suspected cause
Describe unusual noise, leakage or a change in mixing or discharge operation, and when it occurs. Mention recent repairs and whether the concern appears to come from the mixer or the vehicle powering it. Raj can discuss the assessment needed for the drive components, hydraulics or running gear involved.
Agree a safe assessment
Mixers and feed machinery must be safely isolated before maintenance. Do not enter a mixer or reach into its mechanisms to take photographs or locate a fault. Arrange the inspection, site access and isolation with Raj, and confirm any specialist support, replacement parts and additional labour before proceeding.
What to send with your enquiry
- Mixer make, model, serial number and service history
- Symptoms and recent changes or repairs
- Site contact, access and operating schedule
You can also send the enquiry form with photographs. Photos support the first conversation; inspection may still be needed before a reliable repair quote.
Local bookings and nearby visits
ARM Cars is based in Morven, serving Waimate District and nearby South Canterbury communities including Glenavy, Studholme, Willowbridge, Makikihi and St Andrews. Call before visiting. For a nearby mobile job, send the exact location so Raj can confirm access, travel charges and whether the work is suitable on site.
How much will it cost?
Pricing depends on the vehicle or machine, diagnosis, parts and agreed labour. Ask for the inspection charge, an estimate or quote for the proposed work, and the process for approving anything additional. An online enquiry is not a confirmed appointment.
